VIDEPLAST MEMORIES

1986

BEGINNING OF ACTIVITIES

On October 29th, 1986, Videplast starts its activities in a 120-m² shed in the city of Videira (SC), equipped with two machines and five employees.

COMPANY EXPANSION

The physical and technological structure of the company expands to meet the growing demand for products.

IMPROVED SAFETY

Strengthening of workers’ safety and health programs, including CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention).

IMPROVED HEALTH

With the well-being of its employees in mind, partnerships and agreements are formed.

RECYCLING PRODUCTION SITE

The recycling production site was transferred from Santa Bárbara, the countryside of Videira, to Rio das Antas (SC), thus improving the company’s structure and increasing its production capacity.

2001

CREATION OF ARVI

In order to provide our employees with leisure activities, we created ARVI - Associação Recreativa Videplast (Videplast’s Recreational Association) in Videira.

2002

GROWING PACE

The growing pace of Videplast exceeds the boundaries of the southern Brazilian region, and the company expands its activities to Rio Verde (GO).

INNOVATION

Installation of a modern research and development laboratory, as well as the structuring of the Human Resources department to improve people management.

MORE EDUCATION AND INCENTIVES

The company partners with SESI – Brazilian technical school, to offer without cost high and elementary school classes at its premises through the Workers' Education program.

2006

20 YEARS OF FOUNDATION

In celebration of this date, Videplast started up a new production site in Várzea Grande (MT).

2010

NEW EXPANSIONS

Once again, our structure and operating regions are further expanded, with the started up of two more industrial sites one located in Três Rios (RJ) and the second located in União da Vitória (PR).

2012

A NEW MOMENT

Expansion of facilities at União da Vitória Site and launch of the company’s new Videplast logo.

2015

SAP EPR

In 2015, we started SAP operations in our company.

2018

Great Packaging Cases and Good Corporate Citizen Awards.

CONSTANT GROWTH AND EXPANSION TO THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET

Videplast prioritized investments in state-of-the-art equipment’s in order to expanding our participation to overseas markets.
Our production sites have the following capabilities Cast line, Blow and Aquarex lines till 11 layers that allow us to meet the specific requirements of each packaging application.
We are exporting for many countries and we are able to deliver the most demanding markets with high and medium barrier, thermoformed film top/lids and bottom, Cook in film, stretch, Shrink films, F/F/S, Pet food bags and film, Valve bags lateral and top valves among others types of packages.
